Encrypted Data Recovery

I have windows XP powered desktop computer at my office. It has 250GB SATA hard drive. I use this computer for storing all of my business related data and information, so it is much important to keep it safe from unauthorized access and also to prevent data loss.

One day, in order to completely make it safe from unauthorized access, I encrypted the logical volume D of my hard drive, using the function of windows itself, in which I have stored all critical data and information. After encryption, it was working well without any problem.

After some days, I found that any software utility automatically creating folders in my “F” drive and also found that some already existed files are creating problem while opening. After some time, the same problem also started in other logical volumes. I guessed that the problem is created by viruses and entire hard drive got affected from it.

I decided to format all the logical volumes excepting “D”. I formatted the logical drive “E” and “F” using windows function (by selection “Format” option after right clicking on the drive). I formatted the primary drive, logical drive C, during reinstallation of the operating system.

I had my computer reinstalled completely and only with the data on encrypted drive “D” untouched. Now I know I made a serious mistake. I can’t access the data stored on the D drive, though I can see the file list here. I was the most critical situation of my life as I lost all the business related information stored in encrypted form on my computer.

I was much tensioned, my business was almost destroyed. Additionally, I didn’t have any backup of my data. I decided to take help from any technical support and I searched on net in this regards. I found a data recovery software and service provider company, Stellar Information System Ltd. I called them up and tell about my case. Technically expert staff of the company told me that complete data recovery is possible in your case using data recovery software; there is no need to become nervous. I get a shy of relief.

They recommended me to use the demo version of Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery software. After using demo version, if I would be satisfied then I can purchase the serial key to activate the software and to save the recovered data. I downloaded the demo and start searching. After completing the searching process, the software displayed all the data that were recoverable. In the tree of searching result I found that entire data that is required were presented. I saved the search result to save the further searching time.

I was sure that my data are recoverable. I purchased the serial key from the website and activated the software and imported the saved search result. After few minutes the software displayed again the tree to the files and I save all the files from this tree to my drive.
